Ontario Nature, in partnership with the Eastern Ontario Model Forest (EOMF), the Natural Heritage Information Centre (NHIC) and other governmental and nongovernmental groups, has begun work on a new Ontario Herpetofaunal Atlas Program.
The objective of this program is to improve our collective knowledge of the distribution and abundance of Ontario's reptiles and amphibians, collectively referred to as herpetofauna, through public solicitation of species observation data, field surveys, and the amalgamation of existing databases.
